SCHOOL COMMITTEE: THE NEXT AMERICA FIRST BATTLEGROUND
It’s an exciting time to be in politics right now and even more exciting to be an American. President Trump stands as a transformational figure, prepared to usher in a New Golden Age. That bold prophecy, with which he opened his Inauguration Address is undergirded by a simple motto—“America First.”
For President Trump and those in Washington D.C., America First means protecting our interests at home and staying out of wars abroad. But what does it mean for the ordinary citizen in Massachusetts? What does it mean for you and me?
For you and I, America First starts in the schools.
FIGHTING THE WOKE AGENDA
What’s happening to our kids has gone well past some of the conservative vs. liberal debates we all used to have. We passed that several exits ago, and are now driving down the road of complete insanity.
Those are harsh words, but what else is there to explain the notion that boys should compete in girls’ sports? Or even worse, that boys should go into girls’ locker room?
The perversion of children goes into the curriculums that are put out. Kids are exposed to graphic materials at way too young of an age. Drag queens—the polite word for mentally disturbed men in dresses—are invited in to conduct story hours.
Schoolteachers, acting without the consent of the parents, counsel children to take medication—perhaps even seek out surgery to change their gender. In other words, to mutilate themselves at an age when innocence should be protected.
It's madness. President Trump has issued executive orders on all of this, from stopping boys in girls’ sports to barring transgender mutilation. We’re grateful to him and this is needed relief. But it’s only a respite.
Executive orders are fleeting, changing with each Administration. Moreover, the School Committees in Massachusetts are still mostly controlled by left-wingers. We can count on them trying to ride out the next four years, resisting wherever possible, while still promulgating bad curriculums.
We can counter that by using this valuable time and protection Trump has given us to get organized, and to start taking these School Committee seats back.
LET’S ALL GET CONNECTED
It’s easy for people with our values to say, “Oh well, it’s Massachusetts.” But there are more of us out there than you realize. Over a million people in the Bay State voted for President Trump. He got nearly 40 percent of the vote statewide—in other words, if you’re standing in a random party or office with nine other people, the odds are there’s at least three other people who think just like you politically. We might not be the majority (yet). But we’re not alone. Freedom Fighters wants to be a vehicle that can connect us all.
SCHOOL COMMITTEE RACES ARE WINNABLE
Not only are there more of us than you realize, most of us don’t vote in local elections. The reason is often simple—a lack of information. While the public school bureaucrats and the Democrats make sure their voters know when local elections are, we’ve been left adrift.
That’s the bad news. The good news is that if we simply get organized and get the word out about elections and good candidates, then taking back these School Committee seats can be low-hanging fruit.
We’re available as a resource for people who want to find out how to identify America First voters in their own communities and make them aware of School Committee races.
Running a campaign can seem intimidating but remember this—we aren’t President Trump trying to sweep seven battleground states across the country and get 78 million people to the polls. We’re just trying to find the small percentage of people in our hometown who want to help put America First in the schools.
When you contact Freedom Fighters, we’ll reach out to you with advice on how to get lists of voters and what the best methods are for contacting people. We’ll help you find other people in your area who think like you.
As you move step-by-step through the process, you’ll find just how doable winning local elections as an America First conservative in Massachusetts can really be.
We want to help. Fill out our form and we’ll get in touch with you. Putting America First is going to take all of us working at the local level.
